The CReSPo (Centre for Research in Political Science at the Saint-Louis University Brussels) was established in late 2001. Under the leadership of its first director, Olivier Paye, it quickly developed into a leading center for public policy analysis. Its research activities gradually diversified to cover various fields such as Europeanization, citizen participation, international relations, peace policies, and social policies. Currently, since January 1, 2021, and for a period of 3 years, the CReSPo is directed by Amandine Orsini and consists of around thirty members. It regularly organizes seminars and conferences and participates in several Belgian and international research networks.
