SUMMARY:Sustainable Development Goals – negotiation process and implementation efforts
DESCRIPTION:Yi hyun Kang earned her PhD from the Technical University of Munich and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University (Sweden).  \nHer research focuses on the political decision-making processes related to climate change and biodiversity across different governance levels. Yi hyun will be a guest lecturer in the course « International Organizations\, » where she will present her current research on the implementation of sustainable development goals. \nAbstract: This seminar examines the key concepts underpinning the discussion of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs have been the central policy framework of the United Nations since 2015. For 10 years\, global efforts have been made to implement the SDGs around the world\, but the progress towards the goals has been slow. SUMMARY:[Séminaire IRIB & CReSPo] Lutte contre la précarité étudiante à Bruxelles
DESCRIPTION:Analyse critique des pratiques des CPAS et perspectives d’harmonisation\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSophie Gérard (Centre de droit public et social\, ULB) Juliette Van Ypersele (Centre de droit public et social\, ULB) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLes Centres publics d’action sociale (CPAS) jouent un rôle essentiel dans la lutte contre la précarité étudiante\, mais leurs pratiques varient considérablement d’une commune à l’autre\, soulevant des questions d’équité dans le traitement des bénéficiaires et risquant d’engendrer un non-recours aux droits sociaux.Lors de ce Midi de l’IRIB\, Sophie Gérard et Juliette Van Ypersele\, chercheuses au Centre de droit public et social de l’ULB\, mettront en lumière ces disparités entre les CPAS bruxellois. Elles exposeront ensuite les outils juridiques dont dispose la COCOM pour harmoniser ces pratiques.
